The 220mm Magic Stirrer is a short-type stainless steel stirrer that embodies the elegant simplicity of product designer Michio Akita’s vision, brought to life through the exceptional metalworking craftsmanship of Tsubame-Sanjo, Japan’s renowned metalworking region.

Finished with a specialized catalytic treatment, this stirrer subtly refines beverages when stirred—reducing harsh notes and enhancing smoothness on the palate.

While suitable for a wide range of drinks, it is particularly recommended for spirits such as shochu, a refined Japanese distilled spirit, and wine, where its effect can be most appreciated.

With standard cleaning methods used for tableware, the catalytic effect remains effective semi-permanently.

Due to its characteristics, it may cause carbonated drinks to lose carbonation more easily.
When using with carbonated beverages, please use the opposite (narrow) end.
