The original character used in this artwork is based on an ancient symbol representing “a pair of eyes placed side by side” (reference images attached).
The completed artwork was created on a size F50 panel (116.7 cm × 91 cm), and this poster is based on that original piece (image attached).
The poster size is 91 cm (height) × 61 cm (width).
The artist’s signature is pre-printed, and her original red seal is hand-stamped.
In ancient writing, many characters carry meanings associated with the shape of the eyes.
For this piece, a selected portion of the F50 work has been cropped, and the title is – Guardian.
Oracle / Bronze Script
The character visually resembled a pair of eyes widened in shock, expressing sudden awareness or reaction. It captured the physical gesture of surprise.
Seal Script
“Following the two eyes; means to gaze left and right in astonishment.”
Here, the graph depicts:
-

-
The act of shifting gaze around due to sudden stimulus,
-
A sense of vigilance mixed with fear.

About the Photo Picture
Because the framed acrylic surface reflects light, the author took the photo at an angle so the entire piece can be seen.
The poster is rolled and wrapped in a plastic cover for protection (like those used for calendars), and then packed in a rectangular tube box. For shipping, that box will be placed inside a sturdy cardboard carton.
